Thank You, Volunteers: 24HOP, Valley of the Sun, Tucson Bicycle Classic, and Lago Vista

Race weekends only run smoothly because of the people behind the scenes. A few thank-yous from our February racing:

24HOP: A huge thank-you to Shawna for 24HOP planning and execution. So. Much. Work. In Shawna's words: "I would like to take a moment and thank everyone who made 24HOP a success for our riders. These races wouldn't run smoothly without the help and support from all our wonderful volunteers and coaches. Special shoutout to Coach Lynn for being available at all times during the weekend. He manages to keep riders in check, ride night laps with those who needed the extra push, and help roll burritos at 3 a.m. I would also like to acknowledge and give thanks to Coach Matt. I've had the privilege to work with Matt at 24HOP for the past three years. This race comes with many emotions, from the excitement of the first lap to the tears that come with the 3 a.m. lap, and you always manage to help our riders work through these big emotions. You have the patience of a saint!"

Race Kitchen: Huge thanks to Shawna for organizing the Race Kitchen and to all the volunteers who worked all weekend, day and night, keeping everyone happy and fed. Thanks also to all the handlers!

Valley of the Sun: Thank you to Nate and Kaety for all your time and help, and for keeping our riders well fed.

Tucson Bicycle Classic Beer Garden: Thank you to Tommy, Sarah, Brent, Darbi, Torey, Alisa, Claudia, Karen, Amira, Christy, Candice, and Tomas, who volunteered in the Beer Garden.

Lago Vista: Thanks to Adrian, Alma, and Luz for your help in Texas!
