November Highlights: CPR Certification, a New Velodrome, and Giving Back

What a month for Beyond Racing! Our riders continue to prove that being a great athlete goes far beyond the bike. In addition to showing up to regular practices with their trademark grit, energy, and eagerness to improve, the team took part in a number of outstanding activities that showcased their commitment to leadership, community, and cycling culture.

CPR and First Aid Certification Riders completed CPR and first aid training this month. This was a huge accomplishment and an important step in building confidence, safety skills, and responsibility, both on and off the bike. We're proud of our riders for taking this seriously and stepping up to learn skills that could one day save a life.

Velodrome Ribbon Cutting Beyond Racing had the chance to be part of local cycling history by attending the ribbon cutting of Tucson's brand-new velodrome. The team soaked up the excitement, explored the track, and got inspired by what this new space will mean for the growth of cycling in our community.

Tucson Bike Swap Outreach At the ever-lively Tucson Bike Swap, our athletes represented the team with enthusiasm, sharing baked goods and talking to the public about who we are, what we do, and the opportunities Beyond Racing provides for young cyclists. Their confidence and professionalism made a big impression!

Volunteering at the Tour de Tucson 5K and Kids Fun Ride Giving back is part of our team culture, and our riders did just that by volunteering at the Tour de Tucson 5K Run and Kids Fun Ride. Whether cheering on participants or sharing their love of biking with younger kids, they brought the Beyond Racing spirit to the event in a big way.
